Session Description
In this session, the IAIA Academia section will explore the evolving narratives of Impact Assessment and reflect on the discussions and take aways of the IAIA Academia Section Symposium hosted in Liverpool in 2026 which considered the future of Impact Assessment. The session will ask invited speakers to share there views on how the narratives surrounding Impact Assessment have evolved since 1970 and to reflect on what the future of Impact Assessment might look like.
