All conference participants, including session chairs, invited speakers, organizers, exhibitors, and presenters, are required to register for the conference at the posted rates. IAIA does not have funds available to pay registration and/or travel expenses for participants.

To be included on the program, all speakers (including session chairs) but register and pay by 13 January 2027.

To qualify for the Early Bird rate, full payment must be received by 13 January 2027. Payment of all fees by 31 March 2027 is required to participate in this event; cash payments and registrations on-site will not be accepted.

An invoice convenience fee of US$10 will be added when requesting to pay via invoice.

Cancellation requests received by 31 March 2027 can receive a refund less a processing fee of 25%, not to exceed US$125. Refunds are typically processed after the conference; the refunded amount may differ depending on exchange rates. After 31 March 2027, no refunds will be issued for cancellations or no shows. However, substitutions may be made without financial penalty. 

Individuals officially identified by IAIA may photograph, videotape, and/or audiotape conference events. By attending the conference, you agree to allow your image to be used by IAIA. Individuals are not permitted to record with personal equipment such as cell phones, cameras, or recorders without prior permission from IAIA and the speaker/presenter.

Who can register? IAIA27 is open to everyone — members and non-members alike. Discounted rates are available for current IAIA members,  Affiliate members, and students.

What does my registration fee include? Your registration fee includes access to all conference sessions (20-23 April), the Welcome Reception (20 April), delegate name badge and materials, networking opportunities, lunches (21-23 April), coffee breaks (20-23 April), and the IAIA27 mobile app. Training courses, technical visits, and other ticketed events are not included unless specifically noted.

Can I add training courses, technical visits, or other events after I register? Yes. Log in to your account to add available ticketed events to your existing registration through 31 March. Space may be limited, so some events may sell out earlier.

Who qualifies for discounted rates? Current IAIA members (including employees of corporate members) and members of IAIA Affiliates are eligible for the discounted member rate. Students and recent graduates (within the past two years) receive a further discounted rate. Proof of current enrollment or graduation is required. There are no discounts available to presenters, invited speakers, or session chairs. 

What if I need an invoice before I can pay? Register online — you can select to pay via invoice during the checkout process. A US$10 administrative fee will be added to the invoice.

How do I get an invitation letter? You must register for IAIA27 first. A link to download your invitation letter will be included in your registration confirmation email. Find out more about travel visa requirements on the Plan Your Stay page.

How do I get a tax invoice/receipt? All IAIA27 registration fees include New Zealand’s 15% GST. Tax invoices are issued separately by IAIA’s tax consultant on a monthly basis. If you require a tax invoice, you do not need to request one; it will be sent to you automatically. Please allow time for the monthly processing cycle before contacting IAIA HQ.

What if I need to cancel or transfer my registration? Registration fees can be refunded with a written request received by 31 March 2027; a 25% administrative fee (not to exceed US$125) will be retained. After 31 March, no refunds will be issued for cancellations or no-shows. Substitutions are permitted with written notice to IAIA HQ.
